Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen partying with celebrities such as Celine Dion and Cameron Diaz at Katy Perry's final Las Vegas residency performance
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry laid bare their "clash of lifestyles" as they went to watch Katy Perry's final Las Vegas residency performance.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen taking a private jet to Las Vegas with some of their A-list pals, including Cameron Diaz, Zoe Saldana and Bumble dating-app founder Whitney Wolfe. Once at the concert, they took their seats next to music icon Celine Dion.
Meghan jumped to her feet as she danced along to hit songs such as California Gurls and Last Friday Night. She was also pictured chatting animatedly to her gal pals, but Harry had a "sleepy expression" as he slumped back in his seat, according to body language expert Judi James.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Judi said: "This is a very un-royal outing for Harry and Meghan and it's clearly Meghan who always slides into the celebrity-style appearances better than Harry. In an audience going wild for Katy Perry's songs, standing up from their seats to dance with their arms in the air, it's Meghan who excels at being a fan rather than just a royal."
The Duchess of Sussex stood up and smiled for large parts of the concert, as she clapped along to her favourite Katy Perry hits. Harry, however, seemed to stay seated for the most part.
Judi said: "Harry is seen sitting apparently slumped back in his seat with a sleepy expression here, while Meghan is animated and excited." She also said the couple seem to have a physical divide between them.
The expert explained: "At one point the gap between them and the way Meghan is slightly turned away suggests she's sharing the experience with her girlfriends here, and although Harry does lean forward round her to chat and try to match her levels of animation, he seems in to then sit back again, suggesting he's not quite as immersed as his wife is here."
Judi said Harry might be finding their differing lifestyles hard to cope with. "This looks like a clash of lifestyles that Harry could battling to cope with. He might be keen to please his wife but this is a very different audience experience for a man who grew up a royal Prince," she told us.
Footage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle swiftly leaving a garden party hosted at Buckingham Palace for then-Prince Charles's 70th birthday prompted speculation that they were asked to leave.
The event took place in 2018, not long after Harry and Meghan had tied the knot in a lavish royal ceremony in Windsor.
Royal commentator Lady Colin Campbell claimed there had been tension in the air during the celebration, as Meghan was apparently "bored" and others alleged they had been escorted out of the party.
However a professional lip reader has examined the footage and has revealed what the monarch actually said to his youngest son on the day, and stressed there "definitely wasn't any angst".
The lip reader told MailOnline that a staff member explained to Harry that he had been "called for".
Charles then said to Harry: "We are going now, We have to leave", to which Harry replied: "You go ahead".
During their interactions Harry is approached by a royal member of staff, who appears to tell the Prince that his father wants to talk to him.
The Duke of Sussex then steps aside and Charles quietly tells him something, placing one hand on his son's arm as he does so.
Harry nods and gestures ahead of him before patting Charles on the back and returning to Meghan, before Camilla walks over and kisses both Harry and Meghan goodbye before returning to the party.
