Perhaps Harry thought using such vile phrases as “wicked stepmother” would endear him once more to his father and Camilla. That was clearly a misguided assumption that further damaged any prospect of reconciliation. It’s baffling that he didn’t anticipate the rejection and backlash. Both Harry and Meghan seem deeply delusional if they believe the public or royal family wants them back in the UK after abandoning their duties and relentlessly attacking the esteemed institution.
In truth, the only ones responsible for the estrangement are Harry and Meghan themselves. They chose this path and must accept the consequences of their controversial actions and words. No one is to blame except the two who actively isolated themselves from the royal circle and British public. It's simply ludicrous for them to claim they are victims in any way. The best approach at this point would be graceful acceptance of the boundaries set forth and a sincere effort to build bridges if any reconciliation is pursued on their side.
