Catherine Has Finally Found Peace Of Mind As She Looks Recovered Well At Their Balmoral Cottage

On Monday morning, the Princess of Wales boarded an economy flight from London to Aberdeen with her husband Prince William and their three young children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. They were travelling to Balmoral Castle, the Queen's private residence in Scotland which also holds a special place in the hearts of the Wales family. Both William and Kate are keen to ensure that their children experience the same cherished traditions at Balmoral that they both enjoyed when they were young. Providing George, Charlotte and Louis the opportunity to spend time at Balmoral will give them a sense of continuity and connection to their royal heritage. 

The serene environment that surrounds Balmoral Castle offers the perfect peaceful setting for the Wales family to reflect on the past year, recharge their batteries, and prepare for what is ahead. Though Balmoral Estate spans over 50,000 acres and the castle itself has plenty of rooms, William and Kate will not be staying at the main castle during their visit next week. Instead, like most senior members of the royal family, they opt to stay in their own more private lodgings located elsewhere on the expansive grounds.

King Charles and Camilla will remain at their home, Birkhall, which is also situated on the Balmoral estate. However, they will attend dinner parties and join other family events being held at Balmoral Castle. William and Kate follow a similar routine, choosing to base themselves at their own country retreat on the estate but meeting up with the rest of the royals at the castle for special occasions. Their private home is a cozy cottage named Tam-na-Ghar, which was a special gift from Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. 

Tam-na-Ghar is conveniently located near both Birkhall and Balmoral Castle itself. It offers the Wales family a serene and intimate setting where they can truly unwind together and enjoy quality time away from the public eye. There are several other holiday cottages available for rent on the Balmoral Estate, however these are vacated when the royal family are in residence so they can enjoy maximum privacy during their summer visit.

In the past, William and Kate have been spotted partaking in activities like horseback riding, fishing, and long countryside hikes with their children while at Balmoral. Often incorporating a nice picnic lunch somewhere along the route. Princess Eugenie previously described Balmoral as "the most beautiful place in the world." This helps explain why it has been the favored summer destination of the royal family for generations. It is free from the stresses of public life and scrutiny, offering a rare chance for them to relax and bond as a family.

Catherine is particularly passionate about spending time outdoors with George, Charlotte and Louis. She believes making memories outside in the fresh air is very important for both physical and mental well-being. In her words, "it's such a great environment to spend time in building those quality relationships without distractions." Over the summer months, the family undoubtedly enjoys long leisurely days exploring the scenic grounds of the Balmoral Estate together.

An extraordinary rule has also been put in place for younger members of the royal family regarding visits to Balmoral. While extended family and guests will reside in rooms within Balmoral Castle itself, more senior family members like William and Kate are given the privacy of staying in their own separate cottages elsewhere on the estate grounds. The trip to Balmoral each summer also gives the royals an important opportunity to reflect and renew. The family has faced considerable challenges over the past year from public scrutiny of their roles to various health concerns. Both Anmer Hall and their cottage in Balmoral provide the perfect havens where the Wales family can simply be themselves away from the public eye.
