Thank you all for joining me to discuss Harry and Meghan's recent visit to Colombia. While their trip has sadly come to an end, it was clearly a wonderful experience for both the Sussexes and the Colombian people. Colombia truly showcased its rich culture, warmth, and hospitality in welcoming Harry and Meghan. The Duke and Duchess expressed how full of love and appreciation they felt after experiencing all that Colombia had to offer.

The positive reception of their visit was echoed by Colombian leaders and citizens alike. Colombian President Gustavo Petro commended Meghan for feeling the embrace of Colombia and connecting with various communities during her time there. He recognized communities as the source of Colombia's strength and progress. Vice President Francia Márquez also expressed gratitude for the Sussexes' presence.

Taliana Vargas, the First Lady of Quibdó, shared what Meghan told her - that she hoped the visit highlighted Colombia's culture, friendliness and joy. Meghan wants to return someday to support further development of Afro-Colombian communities. These kind words clearly came straight from Meghan and demonstrate how freely her spirit was in Colombia. Both she and Harry seemed genuinely happy there.

The Colombian media also warmly reported on Harry and Meghan's trip. One news segment recalled being astounded by the couple spontaneously dancing salsa so skillfully. They noted Harry's impressive moves and praised Meghan for speaking Spanish, a gesture of affection for the country. Her language skills from studying in Argentina 20 years ago left audiences even more charmed. It's obvious the reporters loved witnessing the Sussexes' visit and connection to Colombian culture.

During a school visit, children remarked on Harry and Meghan's warm, beautiful energy that could be felt upon their arrival anywhere. Everyone who meets the Sussexes comments on their ease and ability to immediately connect with others. Colombia was fortunate to experience this firsthand.

Meghan supported Colombian designers by wearing outfits from local brands to important events. One dress was from Maqa and the green outfit at the Petronio Alvarez Festival along with her stunning emerald earrings were all by designer Andrés Madrid. These conscious fashion choices exemplified how Meghan embraced Colombia. Unsurprisingly, her looks regularly sell out quickly thanks to her influence.
