Controversial British journalist and TV presenter Pierce Morgan has launched another scathing attack on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, this time criticizing their recent tour of Colombia. Morgan took to his column in the Daily Mail to express his disgust at the couple's trip, calling it a "fake royal tour" and their actions "completely unacceptable."

However, in his rage-filled rant against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Morgan also took aim at Prince William, King Charles, and even Kate Middleton. He insinuated that the future King and his wife had voiced disapproval over Harry and Meghan's South America trip but had been ordered to remain silent by Charles. This inadvertent revelation from Morgan has once again shone an unflattering light on the rift within the royal family.

In his article, Morgan decried Harry and Meghan's decision to visit Colombia, citing the country's political instability and terrorism warnings from both the UK and US governments. He referred to Colombian President Gustavo Petro as a "radical socialist" and criticized Vice President Francia Márquez as being a "fraud" just like Meghan Markle. Morgan accused both women of "playing the victim" and said they "immediately need to be stopped."

In addition to slamming the couple's Colombia tour as a "fake royal tour," Morgan claimed that William and Charles were both reportedly unhappy about it. He said it comes as no surprise, since Harry and Meghan are "not real royals" and "don't do any actual duties." This suggests William and Charles see the tour in the same negative light as Morgan. While taking shots at Harry and Meghan, Morgan let slip the behind-the-scenes frustrations of other senior royals.

Morgan went on to describe the Sussexes as "deluded" for "prancing around" South America, clearly still seething after their Oprah interview and exit from royal duties. However, observers pointed out the hypocrisy in Morgan's anger given the far more troubling allegations facing Andrew. Where is the same level of outrage, they questioned, over a genuine royal facing sex abuse claims and stripped of his titles? Morgan's selective rage confirms, for critics, his bias against Harry and Meghan.

While condemning the couple's Colombia trip, Morgan's comments about William, Charles, and the institution of monarchy being lied to have drawn interest. It implies tensions remain high within the royal family. Responding to Morgan's claims would only fuel more media storm, so Charles is said to have instructed the Cambridges to remain silent. However, this unofficial confirmation of royal discord still damages the family image.

In another sign of potential discontent, sources tell royal reporter Jenny Bond that Kate Middleton now feels empowered to "make her views known" and take on a more prominent role, as she will one day be the institution's ranking female member. However, observers are skeptical, pointing to Kate's history of deference to William and low public engagements. After decades of discretion, it seems unlikely she would suddenly become outspoken. As with Morgan's words on other royals, this could reflect ongoing turbulence within palace walls.

Overall, while aiming vitriol solely at the Sussexes as usual, Morgan's article has still raised serious questions about the stability of the royal family following the tumult of recent years. His visible irritation with Harry and Meghan stepping onto the global stage in their own right, free from constraints, underlines the monarchy's struggle to remain relevant to younger generations. The royals' reputations may continue suffering so long as the choice is made to paper over disagreements rather than have open discussion to build understanding.
