How Meghan Markle Broke Harry’s Heart and Ruined His Christmas

As Christmas approaches, the rift between Prince Harry and the British royal family seems to widen. According to recent reports, Harry deeply misses his home country and relatives during the holiday season. However, his wife Meghan Markle allegedly has no interest in reconciling with the royals.

As recently reported by Mirror,Harry and Meghan stepped down from royal duties in early 2020 and moved to California. Since then, tensions between the couple and the royal family have run high, especially after their explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. The Sussexes leveled accusations of racism and mistreatment against the monarchy.

This year, Harry reached out to his father King Charles III on the monarch's 75th birthday. He called Charles and showed him a video of Archie and Lilibet singing “Happy Birthday.” Sources claimed this gesture was a “turning point” in the strained father-son relationship.

However, there is little indication Meghan shares her husband’s desire for reconciliation. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield stated on a December 22nd TV appearance that while Harry likely “truly misses his family,” Meghan harbors “no desire” to patch things up with the royals.

Schofield believes Meghan mainly sees the royal platform as an opportunity “to monetize this fame or infamy.” The Duchess seemingly wishes to utilize her royal ties for financial gain rather than restore family bonds.

The holiday season likely exacerbates Harry’s feelings of loneliness and isolation from his relatives. As the Windsors gather for Christmas celebrations, the Sussexes remain secluded in their California mansion.

Royal reporter Michael Cole criticized Harry for keeping his children away from the royal family, urging the Duke to apologize to King Charles. With Harry and Meghan absent, the British royals will spend another Christmas without Archie and Lilibet.

For the past two years, the Sussexes have shared holiday cards featuring their son Archie. However, they have not brought the children to visit the U.K. since moving overseas. Archie and Lilibet have never spent Christmas with their royal relatives.

While Meghan avoids the royals, Harry seemingly continues reaching out to his family. According to reports, the Sussexes have been planning how to build bridges with King Charles and Prince William.

Yet any reconciliation seems doubtful without Meghan on board. Her ongoing lawsuits against British media outlets signal Meghan’s animosity toward the U.K. establishment.

As the Sussexes remain separated from the royals this holiday season, their rift shows no signs of healing in 2023. While Harry apparently misses his relatives, Meghan’s unwillingness to reconcile looks to perpetuate the family feud.

The bright California sunshine seems cold comfort to Harry this Christmas as his loneliness and isolation from the Windsors persist. With Meghan firmly resisting any reconciliation, the Sussexes face another holiday season without the royal family.
