According to inside sources, King Charles has made the decision to enforce a more rigid and conventional standard of upbringing on Prince George as he gets closer to taking the throne as the monarch of Britain one day. While this is to prepare him for his future role, it goes against what Catherine sees as important for her children’s upbringing.

The rules the royal family adheres to include limiting public displays of affection and controlling food intake at events among others. After a family discussion at their summer residence Balmoral Castle in Scotland, King Charles understandingly allowed Catherine and the children to fully enjoy the remainder of the summer holiday undisturbed. This gave them a last opportunity to relax together before George’s new responsibilities begin upon returning to London.

Renowned for her steadfast commitment, Princess Anne will act as George’s mentor providing guidance, knowledge and skills to help with his career.

Having a robust support system in place will no doubt help George adjust to the changes ahead once he turns 12 next year.
