In September, it was revealed that the royal couple had secretly provided £3,500 to replenish goods stolen from a South London food bank. The Southwark food bank run by charity Pan had over £30,000 worth of items taken during a burglary. This wasn't the first time the Prince and Princess of Wales lent a helping hand. In 2021, following a similar robbery at a church food bank in Swanley, Kensington Palace contacted Reverend Steve Bunting to offer replacement items. The royals had visited the church the year before and were eager to ensure the food bank could still serve those in need. Their proactive support in difficult times reflects their commitment to charitable causes, even amid their own struggles.

In July, the couple made a private donation to aid hurricane victims in the Caribbean. And during a surprise visit in 2020 to thank key workers at a London church, they helped pack and sort food parcels for distribution.
