DON'T TOUCH ME! Harry Miserably RESISTS Meghan's Hand Holding At Afro Caribbean Village

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embarked on their royal tour of Colombia with the goal of highlighting the country's culture and fostering goodwill. However, the third day of their visit to the afro-Caribbean village of San Basilio de Palenque offered a revealing glimpse into cracks that are forming in their relationship. What was meant to be an exploration of the village's vibrant history and art instead turned into yet another showcase of the clear tensions between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The trip itself involved a half hour helicopter ride from Cagun followed by a bumpy 15 minute drive on a pot hole riddled road lined with military vehicles, including a tank. The journey highlighted just how intricate the security measures were for this high-profile visit. Meghan opted for attire well-suited to the sweltering 30 degree heat - a white linen skirt, sleeveless blouse and Panama hat. Harry, on the other hand, seemed to struggle with the climate more, as his lightweight blue linen shirt already showed noticeable sweat stains under his arms upon arrival.

When they reached the village square where local artisans had set up displays of traditional crafts, Meghan immediately latched onto Harry's hand with what could only be described as an iron grip. However, this was no casual loving handhold between soulmates - it seemed Meghan was firmly directing his every move. Her energy and determination were so forceful that one couldn't help but question if Harry was even capable of walking unassisted. The tension in Meghan's arm was palpable and her clear aim was to steer Harry exactly where she wanted him. This wasn't a simple cultural village stroll - it was an obvious power play.

In stark contrast, Harry looked utterly disengaged and as if he'd rather be anywhere else. His attempts to subtly pull away were noticeable and his eyes never once met Meghan's. It's as if the very act of holding hands had become a tiresome chore that Harry no longer had the patience for. Who could blame him, really, when their body language painted such an awkward and uncomfortable picture?

Raw royal protocol has long frowned upon overly affectionate public displays precisely because even the most devoted couples will have disagreements, and when those tensions arise nonverbally, it becomes painfully obvious to observers. Unfortunately for Harry and Meghan, their clinging displays of handholding and PDA seemed to be desperate attempts to maintain their carefully crafted image of a blissful union, rather than natural signs of intimacy between partners.

As the day wore on in San Basilio de Palenque, Meghan's clear desperation to maintain appearances through forced handholding and "death gripping" only served to emphasize the strains in the relationship. Meanwhile, Harry's subtle but noticeable attempts to distance himself and disengage spoke volumes. The once picture-perfect image of a loving royal couple is clearly starting to show its cracks, and no amount of photo ops can cover up what was on full display during this tour stop.

Their body language told a story that protocol would suggest they try to keep private - this was not a genuine partnership of equals. Meghan's clear controlling energy and micromanaging ways seemed to have finally met their match in Harry's disappointment and disinterest. Her infamous "claw" was losing its grip.

While their Colombian tour was meant to spotlight cultural exchanges, interesting tradition, and forge good foreign relations, it instead devolved into yet another spectacle - this time observing a high-profile relationship showing tell-tale signs of strains and fissures. Moving forward, Harry and Meghan would be wise to reflect carefully on managing not just their public image but the reality of their rapport away from the cameras as well, lest further slips like this damage their credibility and the public's faith in their union. For now, the cracks first spotted in San Basilio de Palenque suggest their still-new marriage is not as solid as their storybook image would lead the world to believe.
